Come celebrate the eve of Darwin's Birthday with a special Night at the Museum all about evolution!

Why do Birds of Paradise look so extravagant? How did porcupines get their quills? Where did Darwin get his ideas? These questions and more will be investigated as we focus in on the backbone of modern biology: evolution!

The event will feature specimens from the our collections, special guests from the Point Defiance Zoo, children's activities, hands-on learning, dissection demonstrations, and guest scientists.

Cake will be provided!

Visiting Experts - Scientists from the University of Puget Sound and Pacific Lutheran University will share with us how they continue to study evolution today!

This is a free, family-friendly, drop-in event!
