A night full of beetles, crabs, spiders, butterflies, and more!

What is an arthropod? Why are they important? Explore this incredibly diverse group of organisms and learn about the wonders and adventures of some of the smallest life forms around us!

Specimen preparation- As always, our Collections Manager and skinners will be turning dead animals into museum specimens. Ask questions and get hands-on with his dissections and preparations! Specimen preparation will be located in room 297.

Live animals- Get up close and personal with some special guests from the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium!

Kid's craft- Create a clothespin dragonfly! The kid's craft will be located in room 283.

This is a free, family-friendly, drop-in event.
