Dear Members of the Campus Community,
We have received enough of the Moderna vaccine that we would like to invite community members to sign up for their first dose of the Moderna vaccine.
We offer first and second doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine for participants who are 18 or older on Wednesday, May 19, and Thursday, May 20.
Currently, there is a great deal of vaccine availability in the community, and CHWS will not provide the second dose following this event. To access the second dose from providers in the local community, please use the vaccine locator tool found at: https://vaccinelocator.doh.wa.gov/ or https://www.tpchd.org/healthy-people/diseases/covid-19/covid-19-vaccine-information.
Moderna vaccinations are available by appointment only. The vaccine clinics will take place in Upper Marshall Hall from 9 a.m.–3 p.m. To sign up for an appointment:
- Email dbus@pugetsound.edu to request an appointment no later than Sunday, May 9, 5 p.m.
- Bring Puget Sound ID to check in 5 minutes prior to your appointment.
- Plan to stay at the vaccine site for 15–30 minutes after receiving the vaccine.
In addition, we will offer the Johnson & Johnson vaccine on both days with no appointment needed. Walk-ins will be accepted until supplies run out.
Sincerely,
Kelly
