Dear Members of the Campus Community,

Thank you all for your steadfast adherence to our novel coronavirus protocols that are helping to protect all members of the campus community. Committing to the Puget Sound community pledge, completing daily health screenings, participating in surveillance testing, and taking advantage of mass testing opportunities on campus—in addition to wearing masks and maintaining appropriate social distance—are truly making a difference.

As part of our effort to make sure you have the information you need, over the past several weeks, members of our campus community have been working to create a dashboard that makes it easy to get accurate, current information about:

  • Results of testing on campus by Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department’s mobile unit
  • The number of confirmed cases of novel coronavirus among students, faculty, and staff members, both presently and historically
  • The number of students currently in isolation or quarantine on campus

I hope you find this information useful. The dashboard can be found at pugetsound.edu/covid-19-dashboard.

We are also in the process of scheduling a series of town hall meetings for students, faculty and staff members, parents, and alumni to update you on plans for the spring semester, solicit your feedback, and answer your questions. Please look for a schedule of meetings next week, and if you have not already done so, please mark your calendars for our next mass testing date on campus, Wednesday, Oct. 28, 10 a.m.–3 p.m.

We got this, Loggers!

Isiaah,
Isiaah Crawford, Ph.D. | President.
