As you know, we typically begin each fall semester with a President’s Welcome address, in which I have the opportunity to share with you my perspective on our priorities, challenges and opportunities for the year ahead. Given the breathtaking pace of change in the world, I’d like to do a mid-year check-in with all of you at the end of the week and take the opportunity to talk about something other than—or at least in addition to—our response to the pandemic.
