Celebrate the start of a new school year with predators of the animal kingdom!

Whether they have sharp teeth, hooked beaks, long tongues, or another mechanism entirely, carnivores need to get their protein somehow! Join us to learn about meat eaters of all shapes and sizes!

Specimen preparation- As always, our Collections Manager will be turning dead animals into museum specimens. Ask questions and get hands-on with his dissections and preparations!

Kid's craft- Build your own miniature biting carnivore out of a clothespin!

Wolf Haven- Talk to staff members of this sanctuary and learn about wolf conservation!

Live animals- Get up close and personal with some special guests from the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium!

This is a free, family-friendly, drop-in event!

Join us September 28th, from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. at the University of Puget Sound Campus (located at 1500 N Warner St, Tacoma, WA 98416) in Thompson Hall room 295. Directions to Thompson Hall can be found here
