Charlotte Fron is an IPE major from Palo Alto, California. Charlotte was a member of Chorale and participated in Women's Ultimate Frisbee. As a Communications Intern for BRAC UK, Charlotte sorted through internal and external documents to create concise factsheets and articles with accessible language to educate the general public about the success of BRAC programs. Charlotte studied abroad in Freiburg, Germany with an IES Program that focused on the European Union. For her senior thesis, titled Preventing the Preventable: Advocating for Strong Family Planning to Avoid Maternal Mortality, Charlotte argues for avoiding unintended pregnancies through modern contraceptive use, safe abortions, and comprehensive sexual education. The project emphasizes female bodily autonomy and empowerment, and argues for the improvement of wellbeing that comes from taking control of one's fertility, and avoiding unnecessary health risks.
