Puget Sound Big Siblings partners with Big Brothers Big Sisters and Communities in Schools to pair college students with Tacoma youth to serve as mentors, role models, and friends. Our purpose is to expose Tacoma youth to higher education and help them achieve their full potential, while giving Puget Sound students the opportunity to learn from and give back to the community. If you are interested in being a mentor, please email kids@pugetsound.edu.

For interested mentors: Depending on the program, there is a 1-2 hour(s) per week obligation of one-on-one time with your assigned mentee. Puget Sound Big Siblings engages participants in monthly activities free of cost to mentors and mentees' families, such as trips to Point Defiance Zoo, the Tacoma Glass Museum, the Slater Museum and Rock Climbing adventures with Puget Sound Outdoors. Mentors are expected to attend these monthly activities planned by the Puget Sound Youth Programs coordinators.

If you are interested in mentoring, download the Mentor Application and submit it via email to the program coordinators at kids@pugetsound.edu.
