With practice experience in companion animal, small ruminant, and poultry medicine, Ms. Loghry earned her Baccalaureate Degree in Applied Veterinary Science from St. Petersburg College and her Master’s Degree in Public Health from the School of Medicine, University of California, Davis. She is certified in Public Health by the National Board of Public Health Examiners.
Ms. Loghry also has post-graduate certificates in Veterinary Homeland Security, Epidemiologic and Biostatistical Methods for Public Health, and Occupational Health and Safety. She has worked on public health projects globally in Haiti, Bangladesh, Egypt, Mali, and West Africa, consulting on a variety of topics including women’s issues, animal agriculture, public health, and food security. Teaching public health, at home or abroad, is a passion and she strives to encourage a love of lifelong learning in all her students.
