Puget Sound Community
"The university’s campus-wide programming and initiatives toward diverse and inclusive community; and the OT program’s mission to prepare culturally sensitive graduates drew me to Puget Sound. These values align with my personal beliefs on the power of a learning community that respects diversity, approaches differences with cultural humility, and dismantles racism that leads to health disparities.”
“OT is the Liberal Arts”
“Occupational therapy practice, as in Liberal Arts education, requires an expansive view of humanity, understanding contextual factors that impact performance with a goal of improving quality of life for the individual and their community.”
