Danielle Lemieux

Piano instructor | Horn instructor

Danielle J. Lemieux, piano instructor, horn instructor, plays professionally with the Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra (Seattle) and the Auburn Symphony (Auburn, WA). She is a substitute player for many other area groups as well. She’s performed many solo programs, which include being the soloist with the Tacoma Concert Band and the Brass Unlimited. She was a two-time finalist for the Ladies Musical Club of Seattle Solo Competition.

Ms. Lemieux also serves as the Director of Music Ministry for Children and Youth at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church by the Narrows (Tacoma) where she leads six vocal and instrumental ensembles for children and youth.

Ms. Lemieux received her B.A. in Mus. Ed.(Instrumental/Choral with emphasis on Horn Performance) at the University of Puget Sound. She earned her M.A. in Horn Performance at the New England Conservatory of Music, Boston, MA. She lived in Oslo, Norway (2001-2002) as a Fulbright Scholar studying horn solo music under renowned player and teacher, Froydis Ree Wekre.
