
Violin and Viola instructor
Violinist Quinn Price is an active freelance performer and teacher in the Puget Sound area. He currently plays as a member of the Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra and Symphony Tacoma, as well as serving as Principal Second violinist with Northwest Sinfonietta and the Seattle Collaborative Orchestra. He also plays with other ensembles such as the Auburn Symphony Orchestra, Seattle Chamber Orchestra, and the Fifth Avenue Theater. He is a former member of the Richmond Symphony in Virginia.
He holds performance degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music (B.M.) and the University of Texas at Austin (M.M.). While at Cleveland Institute of Music, he was a student of Stephen Rose, and was recipient of the Dr. Jerome Gross Prize in Violin. At UT Austin, he was the teaching assistant to Brian Lewis.
