Rebecca Wellington

Prof. Wellington’s journey as a teacher started on the ocean, sailing around the world. She went on to teach in outdoor education, then high school as a social studies teacher. In higher education she has taught courses in education history and curriculum design and instruction. Prof. Wellington mentors new teachers preparing to enter the classroom. She passionately believes that in order to create positive change in education we must understand and authentically integrate lessons from the past.
