Clinical Assistant Professor, School of Education
A clinical mental health counselor with experience spanning children, adolescents, adults, and couples, Prof. Clapp teaches and supervises counselors-in-training in the M.Ed. Counseling program.
She pulls from a breadth of academic, research, and clinical experiences to inform her teaching and supervision of counseling students, including a doctoral minor in Women Gender and Sexuality Studies and focused experience and research in suicide prevention. Sarah values the incredible opportunity to be involved in the growth and development of counselors-in-training and the broader counseling profession at the University of Puget Sound. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys rock climbing, hiking, science and nature documentaries, curating an eclectic vinyl collection, and exploring antique malls.
