His many former students have prominent and varied careers in the music field, including symphonic, chamber music, new music, teaching, administrative and advocacy positions. Geber is vice president of the Walter W. Naumburg Foundation in New York and is also an artist-representative for Jargar Strings.

Geber will be joined by Alistair MacRae, Cordelia Wikarski-Miedel Artist in Residence at the University of Puget Sound, cellist of the Puget Sound Piano Trio, principal cello of the Princeton Symphony Orchestra, and principal cello of Symphony Tacoma.
