Please join us in marking the placement of seven signs on campus bearing the Lushootseed names of native plants. This work was undertaken in partnership with the Puyallup Tribal Language Program, and was carried forward by two class cohorts of the joint African American Studies/Environmental Policy and Decision-Making course on Environmental Racism. There will be a brief program, refreshments, and an invitation to go for a walk and see the signs.
