Join us to celebrate the diversity of life, both big and small, as we unveil part of our new insect collection along with some old favorites!
Kid's Activity - Build a bug in our kid's activity room!
Specimen Preparation - As always, our Collections Manager will be turning dead animals into museum specimens. You can ask questions and get hands-on with his dissections and preparations.
Visiting Experts - Students in the Bee Club at the University of Puget Sound will be at the event, talking about how they care for the bees and who knows - maybe they'll teach you how to dance like a bee!
Live Animals - Meet some invertebrates from the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium.
This is a free, family-friendly, drop-in event!
Join us March 31st, from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. at the University of Puget Sound Campus (located at 1500 N Warner St, Tacoma, WA 98416) in Thompson Hall room 295. Please find directions to Thompson Hall here.
