Dear Members of the Campus Community,
Thank you to those of you who were able to participate in the launch of Puget Sound’s strategic planning process last week. Over the course of the academic year, we are working together as a community to set our course for the next decade in order to deliver on our mission as a national liberal arts college of distinction.
Last week our consultants met with the following:
- Strategic Planning Steering Committee
- Community Conversation (for all students, faculty, and staff)
- Faculty Meeting
- ASUPS Executives
- Staff Senate Executive Committee
- Director of Institutional Research and Retention
- Chief Diversity Officer and Dean of Diversity and Inclusion
- Office of Enrollment Leadership Team
- Academic Leadership Team (ALT)
- Graduate Program Directors
- Student Affairs Leadership Team (SALT)
- Office of Finance and Administration Leadership Team
- University Relations Leadership Team
Our next series of meetings will be scheduled Oct. 25–27, and will include sessions open to students, faculty and staff, as well as a workshop for Puget Sound’s Board of Trustees. More information will be forthcoming early next month. In the meantime, please visit pugetsound.edu/strategicplan for more information on the strategic planning process (including the presentation given at the September Community Conversation and links to additional readings) and send your questions, thoughts, and comments to strategicplan@pugetsound.edu.
Thank you for participating in this process to create a forward-looking strategic plan to advance the university’s mission and establish our vision for the decade to come.
Sincerely,
Isiaah
