Dear Members of the Campus Community,
Thank you for your participation in our recent finalist interviews for the vice president for enrollment position. I am pleased to share with you that Matt Boyce, Ph.D. will join Puget Sound in this important role beginning June 8. His skills and experience are particularly well-suited to our needs at this time and, in partnership with Shannon Carr and Maggie Mittuch, I believe we will have in place an exceptionally talented leadership team to achieve our strategic enrollment goals.
I am very grateful to Shannon for her strong and able leadership as our interim vice president, a role in which she will continue to serve throughout the spring semester, and for the continuity she provides as associate vice president for admission in leading our hardworking enrollment team in successfully recruiting and yielding the incoming Class of 2024.
A press release with more information will be available shortly at pugetsound.edu. Meanwhile, I would like to thank the search committee for its excellent work in identifying a strong pool of candidates during an exceptionally competitive time in the field of enrollment management. With our Leadership for a Changing World strategic plan initiatives underway and a strategic enrollment plan on the horizon, Puget Sound is well positioned for success in recruiting, retaining, and graduating increasingly diverse and talented generations of Loggers.
Sincerely,
Isiaah
Isiaah Crawford, Ph.D. | President
