Dear Members of the Campus Community,
The university is launching a search for a vice president for student affairs and dean of students, and I am pleased to share with you that the following individuals will serve on our search committee working closely with the search consulting firm Isaacson, Miller. The committee will be chaired by Provost Laura Behling and supported by interim Associate Vice President for Human Resources Erin Ruff.
The committee will convene shortly and is committed to an open and transparent process that will solicit feedback from the campus community. The committee will review the role, qualifications and characteristics we seek in our next vice president for student affairs and dean of students, and recommend candidates to bring to campus for interviews early in the spring semester. More information will be forthcoming at that time.
Open listening sessions for students, faculty and staff will be held via Zoom on the following dates:
September 30: Open listening session for students from 4-4:50 p.m.
October 1: Open listening session for faculty and staff from 12-12:50 p.m.
