Shelby Cundiff, Class of 2018, was an International Political Economy and Business double major from Pacifica, California. Shelby participated in the Puget Sound Varsity women's crew team, and served as Vice President of the Panhellenic Council. Shelby also participated in Global Brigades, an international non-profit that implements a holistic model to meet a community’s health and economic goals. Shelby studied abroad in a European Union program based on Germany, and while there, focused on the causes and consequences of the Bosnian genocide. Shelby's GDS senior thesis explored the need for local knowledge in policy decisions regarding water management in small island nations.
