Payscale, a technology company that analyzes compensation data and technology, has ranked the University of Puget Sound fourth for Best Colleges in Washington in its 2023 College Salary Report. The report is based on a comprehensive database of alumni salary data from 3.5 million respondents representing over 2,400 universities across the U.S. The report provides valuable insights into which fields of study offer the most income potential and which are most transferable to different career paths.

Puget Sound also ranks 136th out of 1,522 colleges in the report's category of Best Universities For a Bachelor’s Degree. The report highlights the importance of choosing the right institution and field of study to maximize lifetime earning potential. Puget Sound is committed to experiential education, close mentorship from faculty, and making an impact in the world.
Our graduates make a strong impact on a national level. They rank seventh in the number of alumni who serve as Peace Corps volunteers and in 2022, achieved a remarkable 100% acceptance rate for health professions advising applicants. Eighty-six percent of the 2022 graduates are currently employed, pursuing further education, or involved in public service.
