A Local Night at the Museum
From the Puget Sound to Mount Rainier, come meet the animals and habitats of Washington State!
Kid's Activity - Create your very own nature journal! Decorate the cover and use it to record and sketch animals and plants you see in Washington! Plus, pick up a map of Washington and do our scavenger hunt - can you find animals at the event from every habitat?
Specimen Preparation - As always, our Collections Manager will be turning dead animals into museum specimens. You can ask questions and get hands-on with his dissections and preparations.
Visiting Experts - Learn how you can help researchers by being a citizen scientist!
This is a free, family-friendly, drop-in event!
Join us October 1st, from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. at the University of Puget Sound Campus (located at 1500 N Warner St, Tacoma, WA 98416) in Thompson Hall room 295. Please find directions to Thompson Hall here.
