Join us for Wing into Spring Night at the Museum, to learn how birds, mammals, insects, and even fish fly through the air and sea.
Kid's Activity - Use a wind tunnel to study how different bird wings navigate the skies!
Specimen Preparation - As always, our Collections Manager will be turning dead animals into museum specimens. You can ask questions and get hands-on with his dissections and preparations.
Visiting Experts - Talk with University of Montana Ph.D candidate Brett Klaassen about his research on seabirds and flight and meet some folks from the Tahoma Audubon Society!
Live Animals - Meet some flying fauna from the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium.
