The Community Engagement Initiative allows us to cultivate strong relationships with our local community while offering students the chance to engage in Tacoma in meaningful and transformative ways that bring their liberal arts learning to life.

The Office of Experiential Learning Programs and Support works directly with students, faculty, staff, and community partners to bring the community and university together for productive and supportive community-based learning experiences.

If you have questions or want to learn more about applying for CEI Grant funding, or other logistics involved in taking students off campus for learning experiences, please review details here, and/or contact us at experiential-learning@pugetsound.edu.
