Greater, We Ascend: The Campaign for University of Puget Sound

Characterized by our lifelong commitment to learning, the Logger community shares an unparalleled thirst for knowledge that extends well beyond the undergraduate or graduate experience. We are driven by curiosity, and that wide-eyed enthusiasm for the world around us doesn’t end with graduation.

In fact, Loggers often share their passions and pursuits with other members of our community, building an ever-stronger network of students and alumni inspired to foster the next generation of leaders, thinkers, builders, and entrepreneurs. And as a top 10 Peace Corps volunteer-producing institution among small universities, we are a community inspired to serve.

Pillar Fundraising Objectives

Strengthen our existing alumni mentorship program, providing students with opportunities to connect with fellow Loggers, access resources and information, and gain insight and inspiration from professionals and leaders who understand the value of a Puget Sound education in the world of business.

Develop a universitywide set of activities, practices, and curricular initiatives to examine Puget Sound’s role in the diverse histories that have shaped our region. By fostering a better understanding of our history, we can learn from the past in order to meet the challenges of the future.

Bolster programming for the Faculty Development Center (FDC), building a collaborative education space to enhance faculty skills, inspire new methodologies, and further our commitment to inclusive excellence. The FDC offers professional development in four key areas: teaching, research and scholarship, health and well-being, and service and leadership.

Ensure that high-level cocurricular, advising, wellness, and learning services are available to students, including identity and affinity support, leadership development, and opportunities to build community through support from the Puget Sound Fund.
