We as a club provide the opportunity for students to learn about the
international sport of rugby. By playing rugby, students are introduced to a sport that they may not have known about prior to joining the club and they are brought into a group of people who are more than willing to help teach each other the game. Rugby is a sport that can often lean on veteran players to help teach new and inexperienced players how to play, thus providing every student an opportunity to lead and teach in their own right.

Club Purpose
Our club mission is promoting "Conservation Through Inclusivity." Our organization lowers the high financial cost of entry for beginner student anglers from all backgrounds. We also offer ways for students to legally become involved in fishing regardless of citizenship or nationality status.
Historically, the conservation movement in the United States has excluded people from minority backgrounds. By promoting true diversity within recreational fishing, we aim to make a greater contribution to our nation's conservation movement. Without diversity, conservation is inherently flawed, and we intend to be an inclusive force for conservation.

High-Risk Clubs/Organizations
It is mandatory that all students participating in high-risk clubs/organizations fill out the high-risk waiver for each high-risk club they are a part of. This is required, if you or anyone participating in a high-risk club is found to have not completed the form, it will result in the suspension of the club for two weeks, removal of the current club leaders, and any coaches will be fired. Outside members will not be allowed to participate in high-risk clubs.
Reserving Spaces on Campus
The campus has lots of different spaces available to find the one that works best for your club/organization! If you plan to use a classroom to meet or need space for an event, please make sure to reserve it! All reservations can be made through 25live. All events will need to be approved before they can happen.
Hazing Policies
Hazing is prohibited. Hazing of any method of initiation into a student organization or living group, or any pastime or amusement engaged in with respect to that organization or group (other than customary athletic events or similar contests or competitions) which, with or without the consent of the participant(s):
- Causes, or is likely to cause, bodily danger or physical harm, or serious mental or emotional harm, to any student or other person; or
- Subjects a student or other person to conduct or conditions which a reasonable person in circumstance would find harmful, including but not limited to excessive mental or physical discomfort, alcohol or drug abuse, physical confinement, abandonment, verbal or physical abuse, or substantial interference with the person’s educational pursuits; or
- Otherwise involves a violation of a law or university policy or which encourages a student or other person to violate a law or university policy, including but not limited to the Student Integrity Code, Alcohol and Drug Policy, Campus Policy Prohibiting Sexual Misconduct, and Campus Policy Prohibiting Discrimination and Harassment.
Any group or individual who is found to have been involved in any instances of hazing will be subject to prosecution, including but not limited to mandatory withdrawal and loss of funding. More information can be found on the University’s Hazing Policy Page.
