ENVR 350: Puget Sound Environmental Issues Part 1: Politics & Participation

This .25 credit course familiarizes students with the variety of ways to engage in public decision making on Puget Sound environmental issues. Over a weekend field experience, students are joined by local experts and professionals, discussing relevant political and environmental issues and revealing the applied context of the issues under consideration. Students shown here spend a weekend on the shoulders of Mt Rainier and rafted down a reach of the Nisqually River!
